Anzac Rifle Range is located at the end of Franklin Street, Malabar. On driving through the gates you will see club houses on your left. Immediately ahead is the main NSWRA Administraion building. Vear left around the Administration building and follow the road towards the beach. Sydney Rifle Club clubhouse is the last one on the left, in a separate line of clubhouses closest to the range on which we shoot. At the Green Arrow in the satellite photo below.

Sydney Queen's 2007

Well the Queen's has been shot and the winners decided. Greg Horder and Gordon de Groen shot in A Grade and Gordon Vick shot in F standard. The weather was tricky and the scores were down compared with the near perfect conditions of last year. Greg Horder and Gordon Vick also shot in the McIntosh lead-up shoot without a lot of joy. The 1st day of the McIntosh saw Gordon Vick with a silver medal for 500m and the last day of the Queen's saw him start the day with a possible 60/60 at 500m for a Gold Medal. Final results had Gordon Vick in 5th place for the Queen's and 5th in the Grand Aggregate in a strong field of 24 F standard shooters. Full details on the NSWRA website, http://www.nswra.org.au/

The handicaps are not yet shown (coming soon). Scores are in member order (only initials are shown; surname, firstname) for reasons of privacy. If you don't want your results shown please let me know and I'll remove them. I'm a couple of weeks behind but all should be good soon. Last entry 24 Feb 07.

If you come visit us any Saturday in the year (except Christmas Day) we shoot between 1pm and 4.30 pm so arrive before we start (or after we finish) as we will most likely be down the range in between. Give us a call (0450 929639) and we'll see how we can help.

We shoot TR (Target Rifle, iron sights, sling, etc in 0.308 and 0.223 calibre in A, B and C grade.
We also shoot F Class Standard (Scope sights, bipod rest etc in 0.308 and .223 calibre). There is a club championship competition in each TR grade and under 25 years as well as F Class.
